To Advertise with Al Hadath contact Advert on Click On January 12th, 2012, Al Hadath was launched as a free-to-air news and current affairs satellite channel, which operates as an extension of the long-standing Al Arabiya News Channel.
From an editorial perspective, Al Hadath focuses on extensive live coverage of events as they happen from across the Arab world and beyond. This focus includes reporting on politics, breaking news, sports, business and finance. This is coupled with an in-depth studio analysis featuring high profile guests with coverage by the channel’s correspondents in the field.
Al Hadath aims to reinvent the way networks operate within the restriction of conventional television programming. They do this with a capable team of reporters who ensure an uninterrupted news feed and truly impartial news coverage.
Al Arabiya and Al Hadath news channels occasionally share key content in addition to news bulletins.

For this region a valid clock/slate is not required. Files should be delivered as TVC only.

- Local Clearance:
Please contact Adstream for local clearance details for these markets.

- For broadcasters that will only receive material in 4:3, material will be converted to match the requirement of the broadcaster. However if the client would prefer to send an additional 4:3 master then Adstream will require this version to be supplied with a separate unique clock number.

> Tape formats for delivery and internal use:
- The Tape format should be 1080i 50 HDCAM SR, Sample Rate 4:2:2 with uncompressed.
- Discreet 5.1 Surround Sound audio tracks where available. This should be a first generation digital clone of the programme master.

> Ideal programme format for HDCAM SR should be:
- Video – 16:9 Full Height 1.78 with 4:3 safe GFX.
- Audio 1 – Original language Full Mix Left.
- Audio 2 – Original language Full Mix Right.
- Audio 3 – Stereo Music Used Without Effects Left.
- Audio 4 – Stereo Music Used Without Effects Right.

- Where HDCAM SR is not available HDCAM will be accepted.

> Ideal programme format for HDCAM should be:
- Video – 16:9 Full Height 1.78 with 4:3 safe GFX.
- Audio 1 – Original language Full Mix Left.
- Audio 2 – Original language Full Mix Right.
- Audio 3 – M&E.
- Audio 4 – M&E.

- NOTE: IF HD IS UNAVAILABLE SD DIGIBETA FULL HEIGHT ANAMORPHIC (16:9 IN A 4:3 FRAME NO LETTERBOX) WILL BE ACCEPTED.

> Image format specifications:
- Supplied images should ideally be in .ai or any vector format, .TGA .TIFF .JPEG .PNG will also be accepted if these are the only available formats. Image size should be in 16:9 format with a minimum resolution of 1920x1080, do not stretch or scale the image.

- The preferred file format for this region is HD ProRes 422HQ, and all material should be uploaded and QC'd for the MENA region.
